Refund Policy
How cancellation reviews and performance refunds work on Rental HashRate.
1. Cancel an active rental
- Renters cannot cancel unilaterally. Open a ticket in the Ticket Center and check Refund / cancellation review.
- Support reviews the request. If approved, staff cancels the rental and returns the full escrowed amount to the renter. The miner returns to the owner idle pool.
- Abuse (repeat cancel after short use) may be refused or lead to account limits.
2. Performance guarantee (91%+)
- When a rental ends normally, we average the delivered hashrate from telemetry samples over the rental window.
- If average delivery is below 91% of advertised, a proportional refund is paid to the renter from the owner's share when escrow is released. Platform fee is not reduced.
- No samples (rig offline / never hashed) → no automatic performance refund. Use a support ticket if you believe service failed for another reason.
3. Escrow hold
After a rental completes, escrow stays held for a short review window before the owner is paid. Performance refunds (when applicable) are applied at release.
